In the closed-loop system of plastic stretch film recycling and reuse, reprocessing technology is one of the core links. This link not only determines the conversion efficiency of recycled materials, but also directly affects the quality of recycled products and their market competitiveness.
Key links in reprocessing technology
Pretreatment technology
Pretreatment is the starting step of reprocessing technology and a very important step. It mainly includes processes such as classification, cleaning, and crushing. Through fine classification, stretch films of different types and different degrees of contamination are treated separately to improve the efficiency and quality of subsequent processing. The cleaning process uses environmentally friendly cleaning agents or water-based cleaning agents, combined with physical friction, ultrasonic cleaning and other means to effectively remove stains and impurities on the surface of the stretch film. The crushing process uses a special crusher to crush the cleaned stretch film into particles of a certain size for subsequent processing.
Melt extrusion technology
Melt extrusion is also one of the core technologies for stretch film reprocessing. In this process, the crushed stretch film particles are fed into a high-temperature melting device and melted into liquid plastic by heating. Subsequently, the liquid plastic is extruded by an extrusion molding machine into new stretch film or other plastic products. In order to ensure the quality of recycled products, parameters such as temperature and pressure need to be strictly controlled during the melt extrusion process to avoid material degradation or adverse reactions.
Quality control and testing
Quality control and testing are also indispensable during the reprocessing process. By establishing a strict quality testing system, the physical properties, chemical properties, and sanitary properties of recycled materials are fully tested to ensure that they meet relevant standards and customer needs. In addition, the appearance, size, tensile properties, etc. of recycled products need to be strictly controlled to ensure the stability and consistency of product quality.
